1995. Tupac releases his most sensitive record, Me Against the World. Subsequently he becomes the first artist to have a record reach number one on the charts while serving a prison sentence. Also, he wrote a screenplay and got married while imprisoned.

Amerigo Gazaway of Gummy Soul - “Runnin’” - Bizarre Tribe. From the folks who brought you Fela Soul comes an album of classic Pharcyde vocals over classic ATCQ beats. This is “Runnin’” over a remake of “Electric Relaxation”. Note that they reproduced the Tribe cuts from the original samples and refreaked them tastefully. This counts as an audio daily double in my book for Cover Day Friday.
